Ready for Competition?

Dance Republic’s highest level competition groups are crew & company which represents DR at local and national competitions, conventions, and performances. These dancers, aged 7-18 years, are chosen for their commitment to excellence and their evident desire to always strive for their personal best. We take great pride in the training of our Competitive dancers and have high expectations for each of them. Each dancer is chosen for their outstanding technique, performance quality, and style. A DR competitive dancer must be mentally focused, self-driven, exhibit a strong work ethic, and have a desire to commit themselves to the demands of the program. We feel that the positive impact that a serious dance education has on the life of a dancer is unmatched by other sports or disciplines.

2020/2021 team

We are excited to announce our upcoming auditions for the 2020-2021 Season!!  Please feel free to email us with any questions you may have.  The DR Competitive Program requires talent, commitment, dedication, passion, hard work, an eagerness to learn, and a desire to perform and grow as a dancer. And what your child will gain from the experience is priceless—as both a dancer and an individual.

Evaluations for our upcoming Season 11 have begun! Please contact the studio for further information on classes as we will continue to evaluate and place dancers throughout the summer who are interested in joining any one of our competitive teams!

We take into consideration level and age when selecting dancers. It just depends on the group of dancers at that time. It often changes from year to year.
